Real-Time Monitoring, Simplified: Get a comprehensive snapshot with Status Overviews and Performance Metrics

Get a comprehensive view of your network's performance with real-time dashboards, enabling you to stay on top of your game!

  • Status Overview Dashboard

The Status Overview dashboard is the central hub for a high-level view of your entire network's health and performance. It's structured to provide a quick yet comprehensive snapshot through a series of tiles, each summarizing different monitored elements.

The dashboard includes information about a number of monitored nodes, interfaces, and alerting rules. It also presents an alert overview chart for the last 24 hours.

Following this, the dashboard is segmented into tiles representing various monitoring target groups such as Sensors, Network Services, Devices, and Monitoring Packs. Each panel is further broken down into smaller, interactive tiles designed to delve deeper into specific areas with just a click.

Beyond the predefined panels, the dashboard offers flexibility through custom panels. Users can enhance their monitoring view by adding the status of any Atlas Node Group or Atlas Node Folder, tailoring the dashboard to their unique monitoring needs and preferences.

This customizable aspect ensures that every critical component of your network is just a glance away, making it easier to maintain optimal performance and swiftly address issues as they arise.

  • Top Charts

The Top Charts dashboard is a dynamic tool designed for in-depth performance analysis, highlighting nodes based on specific metrics. It organizes data into tiles, each displaying a list of nodes sorted by a particular performance parameter, with the flexibility for users to view either the top N performers or the lowest N, depending on the metric's significance.

    • Top Network Traffic: Identifies switches and routers with the highest traffic, pinpointing potential congestion points.
    • Top Interfaces by % Utilization: Ranks network interfaces by utilization percentage, aiding in capacity planning.
    • Top Interfaces by Traffic: Pinpoints interfaces with high data flow, essential for bandwidth management.
    • Top Processor Utilization: Highlights nodes with the highest CPU usage, indicating possible overloads.
    • Top Memory Usage: Showcases nodes with significant memory consumption, flagging potential memory shortage problems.
    • Low Free Disk Space: Draws attention to nodes with minimal free storage, preempting storage-related issues.
    • Top Problem Nodes: Focuses on nodes with the most active alerts, helping prioritize troubleshooting efforts.
    • Slow Responding Nodes (by PING): Identifies nodes with delayed PING responses, indicating network latency or connectivity issues.
    • Most Loaded Nodes by Disk Transfer: Highlights nodes with intensive disk read/write activities, identifying potential system bottlenecks.

Additionally, the dashboard's customizable nature allows users to create bespoke charts using any monitored counter. This feature includes setting visual thresholds and determining the sorting direction (top or low), providing a tailored monitoring experience that meets specific network requirements.

This blend of predefined and customizable charts ensures that network administrators have a comprehensive, adaptable tool at their disposal for proactive network management and optimization.
